We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M365 Global Administrator to join our Software Operations team. Under the general direction of the Software Operations Lead, this senior position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and other supported software.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and oversees the increasingly complex global administration, maintenance/upgrades, and retirements of Microsoft 365 applications/services and other Sass applications within the Software Operations Team.
- Provides consultative advice to Solution and Enterprise Architects.
- Develops and maintains plans, schedules, procedures, governance policies and compliance standards to ensure the functionality, security, and availability of the M365 platform.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and develops analytical reports to ensure compliance, mitigate risks and optimize user accounts and licenses for optimal functionality.
- Translates complex business requirements to ensure applications/services meet security requirements and facilitate security audits.
- Analyzes patterns, trends, and researches and develops recommendations to provide technical support and training to end-users for various software applications.
- Lead the organizing and coordinating changes and technical upgrades, managing small projects and contractors.
- Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and documentation related to software operations applications.
- Recommends and negotiates terms and changes with external suppliers on contracts, within guidelines.
- Keep abreast of IT technology trends and developments, communicating accordingly to management and colleagues, including keeping up to date in the areas of system architecture and development patterns and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
A four-year degree in computer science, information systems, or related field from an institute of recognized standing, plus five years of IT related experience.
OR
A two-year diploma from an institute of recognized standing plus seven years of IT related experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in M365 administration.
- Ability to work effectively with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders in a team environment.
- Proficiency in administering and supporting various software applications.
- In-depth knowledge of M365 services and related technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are a plus.
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The range for the classification is $46.99-$64.87 Hourly, $90,034.62-$124,304.18 Annually.
