Broadband Installation & Repair Apprentice/Technician (Swan River)

- Complete residential and commercial installations of broadband equipment and services.
- Analyze and find solutions for emergency repair situations.
- Repair or replace faulty drop cables.
- Replace faulty broadband electronics, coaxial, and fibre optic cables.
- Complete maintenance and repair tasks using advanced test equipment.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality control guidelines and company policies and procedures.
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Minimum one year of customer service experience is required.
- Experience and/or post secondary education in electronics/electrical wiring, Telecommunications, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must have no fear of heights (ladder work) and be able to carry 75 lbs.
- Must be able and willing to be on-call for emergency services as needed.
