We are looking for two Business Systems Analysts to join our team. Under the general direction of the SAP Business Systems Analysis Lead, you will be responsible for the support and development of the SAP Department. Working within a team of Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) and System Developers (SDs) and liaising closely business clients, you will specialize in the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of the SAP Department solutions. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with clients of the applications supported.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for system maintenance and development and enhancement of solutions for the SAP Supply Chain modules and related modules/interfaces/systems. This includes working with clients to solicit and document business requirements, designing solutions, developing technical specifications for System Developers and liaising with them, completing system configuration, testing solutions, and rolling out changes to the user community.
  • One position will be responsible for moderate to complex configuration and support of the SAP Sales and Distribution module (SAP SD) and its submodules, such as invoicing, delivery, billing, and customer database within the SAP system and related applications/integrations.
  • The second position will be responsible for moderate to complex configuration and support of the SAP Materials Management module (SAP MM) and its submodules, such as Warehouse Management, Purchasing, and MRP within the SAP system and related applications/integrations.
  • Responsible for the development of comprehensive test plans and conducting system testing related to enhancements, problem resolution, system upgrades, and other IT projects.
  • Act as Project Leader for moderately complex and small-in-scope projects and/or participate in various IT software projects, upgrades, or initiatives.
  • Provide consulting advice and expertise to customer groups concerning system requests and provide recommendations that focus on meeting their business objectives.
  • Provide system problem resolution and user assistance for all SAP Supply Chain functionality, processes, and relevant interfaces.
  • Develop and execute queries and reports.
  • Research and keep current with new functionality, particularly related to SAP Supply Chain modules solutions and their relationships. Maintain active contact with relevant external organizations, such as ASUG (Americas' SAP User Group) and other SAP customers.
  • May be required to direct or participate in the development and delivery of end-user training.
  • Utilize various SAP Department tools and standard processes, such as REMEDY, ServiceNow, Azure Boards, ACCESS databases, configuration, documentation standards, etc.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Represent Manitoba Hydro in dealings with vendors who provide computerized application solutions.

Qualifications:
A four-year Bachelor's degree (Commerce, with Management of Information Systems major preferred, or a related discipline) from a recognized university, plus a minimum of three years of related business analyst experience.
OR
A two-year diploma in IT or Business Administration or related discipline from an institute of recognized standing, plus a minimum of five years of related business analyst experience.
OR
Grade 12 and a Business Analyst Certificate, plus a minimum of seven years of related business analyst experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform key functions of SAP Business Systems Analysis including:
  • Requirements solicitation, documentation, and analysis;
  • Solution design;
  • Development of specifications for system changes;
  • Development of comprehensive test plans;
  • Execution and analysis of test results;
  • Development of implementation plans;
  • Data conversion.
  • Possess strong personal computer skills, with a demonstrated ability to keep up to date with current hardware and software technology (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Experience participating in and leading IT projects or initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop reports.
  • Demonstrated experience with coaching and motivating other team members.
The two positions will require the following:
  • One position will require moderate to complex experience in configuring SAP Sales and Distribution module (SAP SD) and supporting and maintaining its submodules, such as invoicing, delivery, and billing. You will also possess experience in process integrations between SAP SD module and at least two of the following other SAP modules:
  • SAP Materials Management
  • SAP Project Systems
  • SAP PM / EAM
  • SAP Customer Services
  • SAP FI
  • SAP CO
The second position will require moderate to complex experience in configuring SAP Materials Management module (SAP MM) and supporting and maintaining its submodules, such as Warehouse Management, Purchasing, and MRP. You will also possess experience in process integrations between SAP MM module and at least two of the following modules:
  • SAP Sales and Distribution
  • SAP Project Systems
  • SAP PM / EAM
  • SAP Customer Services
  • SAP FI
  • SAP CO
  • Good working knowledge of business processes associated with one or more of the application areas mentioned above.
  • Thorough understanding of current information technology software development methods, applicable tools, and trends.
Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The range for the classification is $37.94-$52.52 Hourly,  $72,703.54-$100,638.98 Annually.
