North Forge - ElevateIP Webinar
Join North Forge for a practical look at how to leverage provisional patents, hosted by North Forge’s ElevateIP Program and Ade & Company Inc.
Provisional Patents as IP Leverage
Risks, rewards, and strategic realities
This keynote will walk founders through how provisional patent applications actually work in practice, and where the real risks and benefits lie. The session will cover what level of technical detail is required to properly support a provisional filing, how enablement affects the strength and future value of an application, and why “reduction to practice” matters when timing a patent strategy. Attendees will come away with a clearer understanding of when a provisional patent meaningfully strengthens an IP position and when it can create false confidence or long-term problems.
