Our Winnipeg Office is Growing! With that we have multiple teams that are looking to hire Intermediate to Senior Level developers. Each team works on something different; if you receive a call from us we will discuss what each team is working on and see where your skills/experience best fits! In the meantime, here is a brief description of each team that is hiring.

Enterprise Solutions: A team focused on finding creative ways to meet enterprise client requirements through custom solutions that leverage iQ's existing products and services.

Basilisk: One of our partner integrations teams which leverages third party APIs to give our clients access to industry-leading products and functionality. These include handset protection and trade-in, appointments, and more. Most recently, they have created a virtual queuing solution which uses SMS to control the flow of customers in our clients’ stores.

RQ Payments: This team focuses on updating and maintaining our clients’ payment experience within our industry-leading Point of Sale solution. They give our clients reliable access to our own payment solutions as well as those from external partners. Most recently, they’ve worked on our Pay Anywhere solution which allows a customer to pay for invoices on their cellular phone without any physical contact.

Payments Solutions: Our payments division is focused on building the fundamental payments technologies underlying all of the iQ brands where security and reliability are key. Payment terminals, e-commerce solutions, money movement, and fraud detection are just a few of the domains we own.

RQ Mobile: Owns and develops an iOS point of sale app, used by thousands of our users throughout North America on a daily basis.  Our job is to add new features and also improve stability, performance and reliability.  Refactoring our older Objective C code into Swift is also an important part of what we do, while also improving code quality and test coverage.  We also own some .Net microservices to support the app.  Integrating with other services and collaborating with many other teams within iQmetrix is a big part of what we do, and helps us to create great experiences for our customers.


Purpose of Each Role:

We are looking for multiple developers with strong C# development and communication skills. Successful candidates will take ownership of solving tough problems, communicating solutions with internal clients (sometimes external), and are a master of balancing quality and speed. They will take initiative to learn and understand technical solutions, work collaboratively with other developers and internal/external stakeholders, and meet challenges as they arise.


  • You will be part of a skilled team of developers which solves complex problems for our biggest multi-million-dollar accounts while creating an excellent client experience.
  • You will be playing a fundamental role in designing and implementing our ambitious integrations and product features.
  • You will have the opportunity to grow your skills by working as a part of the team while striving to find the best solutions.
  • You will be creating and contributing to large-scale architectural plans and solutions that create unique and cutting-edge retail experiences for some of the largest retailers in the world.
  • You will be brainstorming and working with clients to understand the clients’ needs


  • Comfortable with developing on a C# web stack (e.g. ASP.NET Core)
  • Strong foundation in object-oriented design
  • Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle

Recommended (more is better):

  • Experience developing software which uses cloud technologies (eg. message queues, NoSQL data storage, serverless applications).
  • Previous full-stack development experience (Front and Back End).
  • Comfortable with Git.
  • Previous development experience with one or more point-of-sale systems.
  • Experience implementing automated tests
  • BS or better in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (self-taught individuals with strong work experience are welcome to apply).
