Startup Slam

Dyspatch created Startup Slam in 2015 to showcase Victoria’s burgeoning tech sector. We bring students, developers, and entrepreneurs together to share ideas, knowledge, and expertise. For 2020 we’re taking everything our community loves about Startup Slam online, and opening our programming up to attendees across Canada, offering them an introduction to the talent, drive, and curiosity in Victoria’s now thriving tech sector. Startup Slam features interactive sessions led by industry professionals, centered around our four core themes: Fundamentals, Advanced Development, Product & Design and Entrepreneurship. We hand pick sessions that give you actionable takeaways and lots of food for thought: this year we have sessions on Battlesnake game strategy, making your web app distributed, styling with SASS, and how to approach week one at your first tech job (or co-op!) - plus lots more.
