We are pleased to welcome Carol Simic-Marotta, Senior Partner, Culture and Development and Sammia Abrar, Associate Solution Architect for a special keynote.

Carol Simic- Marotta (She/Her) is a passionate, empathetic leader who is committed to creating a positive, successful, inclusive and rewarding culture at Kyndryl, the employer of choice! She maintains steadfast focus on developing programs, education and policies to foster world-class expertise and a culture of engaged, resilient people who work together to advance the vital systems that power human progress. Carol’s success speaks for itself, as her Canadian programs are adopted in other countries around the world. With more than 35 years of experience leading people and working with customers, Carol thrives on building connections, supporting personal development and celebrating our shared successes! Carol is an active volunteer with a long tenure across our inclusion networks as an ally who drives outcomes for all people.
Sammia Abrar (Sum-yah Uh-b-rar) (She/Her) has always been passionate about helping others and creating a positive impact, this is her driving force. Sammia is an Associate Solution Architect with Kyndryl Canada's Chief Technology Office, a role that encompasses projects that optimize processes and teams, innovating technical and difficult concepts into effective solutions, and working on solutions that transform how people work and live!
With a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Human-Computer Interaction, Sammia explored diverse roles in the energy sector, development and consulting prior to joining Kyndryl. Sammia is passionate about building the next generation of technology leaders through volunteerism, mentoring, and advocating for diversity through speaking engagements and development programs.
