More specifically\, designing with accessibility in mind:\n\nDrives innovation: Accessibility features in products and services often solve unanticipated problems.\n\nEnhances your brand: Diversity and inclusion efforts so important to business success are accelerated with a clear\, well-integrated accessibility commitment.\n\nExtends market reach: The global market of people with disabilities is over 1 billion people with a spending power of more than $6 trillion. Accessibility often improves the online experience for all users.\n\nMinimizes legal risk: The Accessibility for Manitobans Act (AMA) introduced the Information and Communication Standard\, which requires that organizations comply with digital accessibility practices identified under the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.1 Level AA.\n\n\n\n\nMeet the Speaker\n\n\n\nKelly Thibodeau\n\nFounder + President\, Squarely Accessible\n\nKelly is a consultant\, trainer and speaker who?s been making online marketing make sense for organizations\, nonprofits and industry groups for over 25 years. She?s the founder of Squarely Accessible and is a keynote speaker\, featured on podcasts and a university instructor.\n\nKelly brings a unique perspective to her work through her belief that all digital experiences are social and that content can?t be conversational until it?s inclusive.\n\nKelly is a leader who champions accessibility. Her company is a recipient of the inaugural 2022 Manitoba Accessibility Fund Grant.
